Tickets can be purchased in person at the National Museum of Natural History. At the Museum, tickets can be purchased using debit or credit card only at the ticket desk on the second floor, off the Rotunda and above the Mammals Hall, adjacent to the Butterfly Pavilion entrance.The National Museum of Natural History is located on the National Mall in Washington, DC., and is within a short walk of three Metro rail stations and a number of bus stops. Onsite parking is not available at the downtown museum, but there are a number of commercial parking garages within 5 blocks of the museum.
