Jan 29, 2021 · The most difficult part of that process, for me anyway on my 2000 400 4x4, is removing and subsequent installation of the return spring on the rear brake lever. The running board needs to be removed. The most difficult bolt to access on the cover is the one in like the 10 o’clock position on top rear of the cover. 2005 kfx 400 wont idle. 05 kfx400 will not idle. i have tried everything that i can think of. carb has been rebuilt, checked the ohms on the throttle position sensor and was in spec. dont know where to go next. is there a way to test the pcm, besides going to the dealer. any help would be greatly appreciated.Curious what you find out. After the bleeding, I can go from 5 to 20 miles w/o a problem. Could a bad decompressor be causing the problem? (The spring is not broken but the groove on the shaft is a bit wallowed by the pin on the decompressor).
