It now shows either 1G and 5 bars (off & on), but mostly shows 4G and 1bar while network extender shows on the phone. I used the #48 to verify the network extender but again it's off an on. I spent a hour on the phone with Verizon tech support without any results.

The Network Extender does seem to work if I bypass the FIOS router and connect the Network Extender directly to the WAN. So it seems the issue is in the router configuration. All lights are blue except for the SYS light, which cycles from fast red blink, slow red blink, steady red and then blue for a while.

The only devices that show on the Fios app as being connected to the extender are the two desktop computers that are plugged in to the extender with Ethernet wires.
